Boat Launch & River Shuttle

The SROA Boat Launch, not to be confused with Sunriver Resort's Marina, is owned and operated by the Sunriver Owners Association.

Access to SROA Boat Launch

One of the following is required to open the electronic gate at the SROA Boat Launch:

  • Valid SROA Membership Card
  • Valid Recreation Plus Program Card
  • Valid Extended Household Card
  • NOT available to the general public

Please Note: If your card is expired or you need to obtain one please contact SROA Member Services. It make take up to 48 hours for your card to become activated and ensure access to the SROA boat launch.

River Shuttle Pickup Service for Members Only

Sunriver Owners Association collaborates with Sunriver Resort to provide river shuttle pickup service for SROA OWNERS ONLY with a valid SROA Membership card and their guests. Service is NOT available to Recreation Plus Program card holders or the general public.

Launch Times:

• 9:30am through September 7
MUST BE OFF THE WATER no later than 5pm to catch the last shuttle.

 
SROA Members must show a valid SROA Member Preference ID at the Resort Marina office to receive a shuttle pickup ticket/wristband PRIOR to your float!

Important Reminders!!

Service availability subject to change due to inclement weather, staffing, etc.
  • Pickup service only (the shuttle will only provide pickup from Canoe Takeout location and return to the SROA boat launch)
  • PLAN FLOAT ACCORDINGLY to be off the water no later than 5pm for pickup.
  • Maximum 12 people in a group
  • Must check in and present at least one valid SROA Membership card to Sunriver Resort's Marina office prior to floating to obtain shuttle ticket.
  • Acceptable watercraft for pickup: Hard-sided canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, rafts, etc. under 17 feet.
  • ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A LIFE VEST AT ALL TIMES on all watercraft.

Float Times

Actual float times are approximate and dependent on paddling efforts and river flow. There are no take out locations or restrooms anywhere along the river.
