Each year the Public Works Department takes the opportunity to make improvements to Sunriver's roads and pathways. Road, pathway paving or seal coating work can only be done at certain temperatures and under no threat of rain, generally in the months of spring and early fall.

Please drive with caution and follow all closure and detour information. Wet asphalt and/or seal coat remains very sticky until dry and will adhere to vehicle and bicycle tires, shoes and dog paws and is very difficult to remove.

September/October Paving & Slurry Work 

East Cascade Road and Overlook Road will undergo paving and/or slurry work between September 8 and October 1, weather permitting.

Owners and visitors in homes in these areas can expect delays or will need to temporarily park in designated areas. 

Affected areas include:

• East Cascade from Circle 9 to west Prostaff Lane entrance
• East Cascade from Winners Circle to west Prostaff Lane entrance
• East Cascade from Circle 9 to Winners Circle
• Overlook Road from Circle 2 to Circle 3
