Home MenuRoad & Pathway Work
Each year the Public Works Department takes the opportunity to make improvements to Sunriver's roads and pathways. Road, pathway paving or seal coating work can only be done at certain temperatures and under no threat of rain, generally in the months of spring and early fall.
Please drive with caution and follow all closure and detour information. Wet asphalt and/or seal coat remains very sticky until dry and will adhere to vehicle and bicycle tires, shoes and dog paws and is very difficult to remove.
June Slurry Seal Roadwork & Parking
Roadways in several Sunriver neighborhoods will undergo slurry seal roadwork June 2 through June 9, weather permitting.
Owners and visitors in homes in these areas should expect restricted access from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and may need to temporarily park in designated locations.
Those staying home during work hours are asked to park in their driveway for the duration of the closure. Those leaving before work begins and returning before roads reopen may use temporary parking areas identified in the schedule.
- Affected areas include multiple roads off:
- West Cascade Road (Circle 4 to Circle 5, both directions)
- Overlook Road and surrounding lanes
- Cottonwood Road and Meadow Road areas
- Abbot Drive connections (e.g., White Elm/Balsam)
- Additional interior roads, cul-de-sacs, and loops throughout Sunriver neighborhoods
Work will progress day-by-day by specific road segments, with flaggers and detours in place where needed.
Door-to-door notification will be provided the morning that work is scheduled in your area.
