Just say 'NO' to light pollution!

In August 2020, the Oregon Chapter of the International Dark Sky Association announced Sunriver's designation to the International Dark Sky Places Program as a "Dark Sky Friendly Development of Distinction." Sunriver was the first International Dark Sky Places recognized in Oregon and, to date, is one of less than 150 recognized places worldwide.

The Sunriver Owners Association has rules and restrictions related to lighting for residential and commercial properties and features a minimum number of street lights to maintain a "dark sky" status.

Just say 'NO' to light pollution!
