Navigating Sunriver's Pathways

PLEASE NOTE: Pedestrian and bicycle traffic is prohibited on primary roads and must remain on the paved pathways.
Sunriver's pathways are for pedestrians, bicyclists, ADA devices and Class 1 e-bikes ONLY.

ALL OTHER ELECTRIC OR MOTORIZED TRANSPORTATION IS NOT ALLOWED ON PATHWAYS. 
This includes Class 2 or Class 3 e-bikes, golf carts, one-wheels, hoverboards, motorcycles, etc.

New pathway Kiosks

In 2024, new wayfinding kiosks replaced the old, wooden kiosks on Sunriver's 34-mile pathway system. 
The project was made possible thanks to the Visit Central Oregon Future Fund Grant

The Komoot mobile app has integrated Sunriver's pathway system to follow
step-by-step directions on your smartphone. (Images shown below are from an Android phone, iPhone interface will vary slightly).

PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS BELOW TO ENSURE KOMOOT IS SET UP PROPERLY TO NAVIGATE SUNRIVER'S PATHWAYS

Step 1: Download the Komoot App from your phone's Google Play or App Store.

Step 2: Create your free account. Follow the guided steps and set your preferences.

Step 3: Select "Shop" and unlock the free "Deschutes County" map. YOU MUST DO THIS STEP TO NAVIGATE SUNRIVER'S PATHWAYS!

Step 4: Select "Plan." Type your destination in the search bar or drop a pin where you want to go to create a route. Be sure to select "cycling" as the sport to get the most accurate pathway routes.

Select "Plan New" to set or choose a new route to get you from point A to point B.
