Some SROA recreation amenities reopening

Details on facility and amenities requirements and access
Post Date:05/20/2020 3:01 PM

While the aquatics remain closed under Gov. Kate Brown’s “Reopening Oregon” phase one plan, it does allow tennis and pickleball play, boat launch access and the member fitness center to open. A Member Preference Card or Recreation Plus Program card is required to use these amenities. PLEASE NOTE: the fitness center is not available to Recreation Plus Program card holders.

SROA is closely monitoring the state’s reopening phases regarding aquatics, contact sports (such as basketball and volleyball) and playgrounds. No date has been announced at this time.

The SHARC facility will remain locked, but allow limited access to the Member Services office and the fitness center by appointment only starting Thursday, May 21. Make an appointment and find operational details on the SHARC website www.sunriversharc.com/covid

Tennis and pickleball operations resume Friday, May 22 and are only available at Tennis Hill at Fort Rock Park at this time. Advance reservations are required. For access details, go to https://www.sunriverowners.org/departments/recreation/tennis-pickleball. Additional rules and requirements for play will be posted at the courts.

SROA’s administration and Public Works offices will soon be available by appointment only once final safety protocols are in place. Opening information will be posted on this website once available.

To ensure the success of reopening amenities, everyone needs to play their part in following all health and safety guidelines and participate in a manner that ensures the safety of all. Please note that all dates, times, access requirements, etc. are subject to change without notice.
