Nature's Colors are Always in Fashion
Color is the single most architecturally significant element in unifying homes with the forest environment. Hiding more than 4,000 units in the forest is no easy task, but one truly worth the effort. Dedication to a founding philosophy of harmonious color selections that blend smoothly with the environment is what makes Sunriver such a special place.
For this reason, all colors and materials (paint, roofs, stone, pavers, etc.) must receive the approval of the Design Committee prior to application. A display of recommended color schemes is in the photo gallery at left. Paint color boards are also available at the SROA office for review and selection.
If you choose colors other than those recommended, a color board must be submitted displaying actual samples (not photos or paint chips) of all colors and materials requested.
If using recommended colors, a sample board is not required. However, samples of materials such as stone, pavers, roofing, etc. must still be submitted.
Requirements for painting and colors is found in Section 19.00 of the Design Manual.
We have provided a photo gallery (above left) of SROA Design approved paint colors using Benjamin Moore • Sherwin Williams and Denfeld Paint colors. Contact your local paint or home improvement store for availability. Many retailers provide custom color matching and mixing if these brands are unavailable.
