Attention owners choosing option A or B and intending to record a special covenant. Deschutes County has informed SROA that they are receiving special covenants by mail without the recording fee ($53), with incorrect legal description of the property and/or without the owner's mailing address at the top of page 1. Please be sure that you review the instructions on the back of the letter you received, or download the instructions and sample covenant with the link at left.

Dear Sunriver Owner, As
we promised in our October 24 letter, the exact amounts of the special
purpose assessments for the SHARC (Sunriver Homeowners Aquatic &
Recreation Center) have been determined. We are pleased to inform you
that because the project costs were lower than expected, the assessment
amounts are less than the “not to exceed” amounts you approved in the
August 2010 election.
The four options with their payment amounts are: Option A - One lump sum assessment of $4,258 Option B - A series of 5 annual assessments of $928.14 Option C - A series of 15 annual assessments of $379.39 Option D - A series of 180 monthly assessments of $32.57
An
invoice or coupons reflecting the option you selected will be sent to
you soon in a separate mailing. If you did not select an option, your
default selection is the option of 180 monthly assessment payments. Your
first payment should be mailed to SROA, PO Box 3629, Sunriver OR 97707
and must be received by January 31, 2012. Thereafter, annual assessments
will be due by January 25 of each year. Monthly assessments will be due
on the first of each month and will be considered late after the 25th
of each month.
Assessments may also be paid online by credit
card. Each payment incurs a “convenience fee” which the third party
processor keeps. The convenience fee is 2.5 percent of the amount you
are paying to SROA. The amount of the convenience fee will be clearly
indicated in the transaction prior to your approval of the payment.
To
use the secure online payment site, you must be a Sunriver property
owner, be registered on the SROA website and logged in. If you have not
registered, please view the sign up instructions page under Online
Office in the green menu bar. Once registered, simply use this link to begin the online payment process. |
