Board approves ballot measure for
aquatics/amphitheater site development
At their April 17 meeting, the SROA Board of Directors unanimously approved a ballot measure for the summer 2010 annual election which asks Sunriver property owners to invest in their community by approving a Special Purpose Assessment to develop the 22-acre amphitheater site on Beaver Drive. This 15-year assessment would repay either a loan or a bond, not to exceed $18.9 million, for development, construction and financing costs associated with development of year-round recreational facilities including aquatics, sledding, amphitheater, picnic/park, and a multi-use building.
