As the head of Group Mackenzie’s landscape architecture group, Jenkins has proven abilities in crafting both sustainable, thoughtful designs and consensus among diverse stakeholder groups. On our Luscher Community Park project in Lake Oswego, he brought together youth and school athletic groups (soccer, football, and lacrosse) with dog park advocates and passive use park enthusiasts. In a series of stakeholder meeting, Jenkins facilitated discussion and offered flexible design concepts at the initial meetings. As we moved through design, we were able to show each group a reflection of their vision and the lighted, multi-use artificial turf sits adjacent to a sprawling and well-used dog park and a protected wetland.

Director of Architecture and leader of the firm’s public project team, Humphreys will serve as project architect. With 14 years of architectural experience, Humphreys takes a programmatic approach to building design, allowing form to rise from function. He has led numerous site planning and programming efforts for municipalities, including several recent pre-bond analyses. Humpreys’s attention to detail and demand for accuracy is well documented. His projects routinely finish with change order rates of two percent or less, well below the industry standard. This translates into direct cost savings for the owner.
