To put it lightly, gardening and landscaping can be difficult in Sunriver. Scalding heat and aridity, the potential for frost in any season, and an abundance of hungry deer and other wildlife can make even the most patient gardener pull their hair out.

SROA's Environmental Services sells half-pound mixture of native grass and wildflower seed for $5 a packet. Stop by the office Mon-Fri, between 8 am and 5 pm (closed from 12-1 pm for lunch). A packet covers approximately 1,000 square feet.
