Bicycling:Sunriver enjoys 33 miles of paved pathways for bicycle and pedestrian use only. Rollerblading, skates, and skateboards are not allowed on Sunriver pathways or roads. Please respect the delicate vegetation by staying on the pavement. Maps are available at various bike rental agencies, realty offices, and at the SROA office. Please stay on the paved pathways. Anglers can find just about all the challenges they would like on the Deschutes, Fall (fly fishing only), or Spring Rivers. Good fishing is also available within an hour by car or hiking on the many lakes located near Sunriver. Licenses may be obtained in the Villag, Business Park, or at the Marina. Fishing seasons are variable, usually beginning late April at lower elevations and late May at the higher lakes. |

Fort Rock Park, in the Tennis Hill area, provides recreational facilities for softball, volleyball, horseshoes, and includes a large, grassy field usable for soccer, baseball, football, and other activities. A shelter is available for picnic and barbeque events. The popular Fourth of July Picnic is also held here. Fort Rock Park is located between Circles 4 and 11. Some equipment may be obtained from the Tennis Hill Hut located at Fort Rock Park (next to the tennis courts). Hours are daily, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 2:30 to 6 p.m. Enjoy the playground, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball court, baseball and softball fields, tennis courts and the new covered pavilion area with tables and a barbecue. |

Two beautiful 18-hole courses are located within Sunriver. They can be played on a daily greens fee basis, or owners may purchase annual memberships entitling them to unlimited play. Lessons are available from professionals at both courses. Men's and ladies' golf groups play weekly. |

Sunriver Stables offers lessons, trail rides, and various riding programs year-round. Boarding is also available by the day, week, or month. The stables are located along the river on the road to the airport. |

Mary McCallum Park, on the river adjacent to the Marina, is restricted to use by owners. It offers picnic and barbecue facilities and a shelter with a fireplace. For reservations and lock combination, contact the SROA office during the week, 593-2411. |

Situated within Tennis Village, the privately owned Sage Springs Club and Spa offers three indoor tennis courts, an indoor pool, jacuzzi, sauna, locker rooms, pro shop, and an exercise room with a variety of equipment. |

In Sunriver, weather permitting, cross-country skiing is delightful. You can ski on the golf courses and there is excellent cross-country skiing in the nearby countryside and on the groomed trails at Mt. Bachelor. Some of the finest downhill skiing in the west is available just 30 minutes away at Mt. Bachelor. Equipment rentals and Sno Park permits are available at various locations in the Village. |

A non-profit scientific and educational organization right in Sunriver! Includes interpretive exhibits, educational programs, a botanical garden, nature trail, observatory, two bald eagles, various owls, raptors, and other creepy-crawly critters for you to see. The observatory offers both night sky and solar viewing. |

The owners association owns and operates two outdoor swimming pools. The South pool is located in the Sunriver Lodge complex and features a 50-foot water slide popular with young swimmers. The North pool is situated adjacent to the Woodlands golf course golf shop building. Watch for the annual announcement in the Sunriver Scene for current use and fee arrangements. Present an owner access card or recreation pass for free use. Lessons and classes are available. |

There are 26 tennis courts available at a number of locations throughout Sunriver. Owners and their guests playing with them may play free on presentation of owner access cards. Court fees are charged for guests not playing with owners or for the general public. Instruction is available and various activities are scheduled throughout the summer.
