SROA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
MEETINGS IN MAY


Regular May 10, 2008 board meeting to take place at
Holy Trinity Church,
18143 Cottonwood Rd., 9 a.m.

The SROA Board of Directors will also hold a May 16 special meeting.
They will convene at 8:45 a.m. the law offices of Karnopp, Petersen, et al,
(1201 NW Wall Street, Bend) and immediately adjourn to executive session
for a settlement conference pertaining to the Herbert & Betty Adelman lawsuit.


Sunriver Road Construction Notice

What: PAVING + widening of Abbot Dr. at Beaver Dr. intersection
Where: Beaver Drive from Fremont Crossing to Circle 11
Abbot Drive from main entrance to Circle 1
When: April 30 - May 9, 2008 (subject to weather conditions)
7 am - sundown
What to expect: Traffic delays of up to 30 minutes and traffic detours
Suggestion: Avoid the main entrance, Beaver Drive to circle 11 and Abbot Drive from main entrance to circle 1, if at all possible.
Use Cottonwood Road entrance to avoid the construction.

Redevelopment of The Village at Sunriver

PUBLIC HEARINGS IN APRIL

There were two public hearings in April. On April 8 in Bend, County Commissioners
heard a report from county planning department staff and a
presentation from the applicant (SilverStar) which included input from the Leland Consulting
Group in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. That presentation is posted here as a 1.6MB PDF file.

On April 30, the commissioners held a hearing in Sunriver at the Great Hall. Public testimony
was accepted from approx. 45 persons regarding the proposed text amendments to create
a Town Center district in Sunriver.

The Deschutes County Board of Commissioners is considering additional hearings.
When any are scheduled, they will be posted here.
